BIP Alarm Commercial - I’m A Virgo
I’m A Virgo’s fifth episode includes a 15-second ad that plays on main character Cootie’s TV when he’s at his breaking point. The ad, meant to invoke the aesthetic of the Erin Esurance commercial campaign from the mid-00s, uses Cootie’s likeness as a monster to sell security alarm systems to scared white people in the Berkeley hills. The folks at Mystery Meat Media gave me the opportunity to lead the design and animation for this commercial. Below is a deck for the props, backgrounds, character designs and animated shots that were used in the final ad spot.
